“ Such a fun concept. It’s a small menu that changes daily. We tried 4 dishes and everything was delicious. Big selection of Japanese whisky, beers and natural wines. It gets pretty busy so I recommend going early. ”

They offer a tapas menu and an omakase where the chef recommend something for you. “ I went to Le Tachimoni Desu yesterday night with 4 other friends. We had overall a superb experience. The mood of the bar is very nice with marble comptoir and dark lights. We ordered the whole menu and it was a complete banger : very fine products, tasty plates, subtle pairing. It was never too much and always smart. In terms of cooking style it is really a fusion of Mexican and Japanese cuisine : more in the way where Japanese is twisted with Mexican inspiration. The drinks selection is high end, maybe expensive for Mexico but absolutely worth it : we had shots of fine Mezcal, bottles of natural wines, sake glass. The overall amount for 5 persons was 6,500 tips included and we were happy. As a way of improvement I would have appreciated : 1/ price to be more clearly stated on the menu 2/ meals to be presented with more details (as we kindly asked the waitress ) ”
“ This was the most special experience when I visited CDMX. This is a little standing bar with natural wine, sake, and whiskey specialty. No drink menu — it’s dealers choice. Limited dinner menu but everything was truly amazing. We had the omu rice (must get!), japa hot dog, duck tostada (with truffle!), sea bass kampachi (amazing for the price), and the mochi. We came on a slow night but I know it gets very packed on the weekends. ”
